PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wiper device capable of being miniaturized and improving arrangement flexibility and arrangement posture flexibility of a wiper motor. SOLUTION: In the wiper device 10, the wiper motor 80 is disposed on one side of a motor bracket part 28 in an axial direction of a first pivot shaft 20, and an output shaft 86 is projected to the other side of the motor bracket part 28 passing through the motor bracket part 28. In the wiper motor 80, the section shape of the motor body 82 is formed to be flat-shaped allowing the axial direction of the output shaft 86 (the axial direction of the first pivot shaft 20) to be a short side direction. A predetermined air gap 136 is secured between the motor body 82, a frame member 16, and a connecting shaft 32. In result, the motor body 82 does not interfere with the frame member 16 even when the motor body 82 and the frame member 16 are overlappedly disposed in the axial direction of the output shaft 86.
