PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the stirring efficiency of a garbage treatment apparatus; and to reduce the load of the driving means. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus 15 has a stirrer blade 19 which is set in a treatment vessel 16, has a triangular cross section, and is rotated by a driving motor 21. The stirrer blade 19 is arranged in a shape of a pair of pieces and at the left and right sides of the outer surface of the rotary shaft of the driving motor 21 and has a longitudinal section with a tapered shape; and the upper side 45 of an inclined plane 43 is inclined downward from the base part to the tip part. Above the stirrer blade 19, another stirrer blade 20 which is in a plate shape and rotates synchronously with the stirrer blade 19 is installed.
