发明名称 METHOD FOR DRIVING TFT LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL AND TFT LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL DRIVING MODULE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a module for driving a TFT liquid crystal panel that have small power consumption as compared with other line inversion driving and dot inversion driving by improving crosstalk, vertical luminance unevenness, and a flicker in frame inversion driving of the TFT liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: A writing scan of the TFT liquid crystal panel is performed several times as fast as usual and then a pause period which is several times as long as a write time is provided as a pause period. The waveform of a signal electrode in the pause period is held at constant gradation level to make relatively small a difference in integrated value by a display pattern as compared with the integrated value of the waveform of the one entire frame, thereby improving crosstalk, unevenness with a luminance gradient, and a flicker. In the pause period, a memory is placed in standby mode and a clock of a boosting circuit of a power source is made slow to reduce the power consumption. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
