The prefabricated roof area element (1) for a building with a layered construction of different materials has at least two different heat insulating materials lying directly one upon the other. One heat insulating material is styrodur (5) and the other is mineral wool (4). The styrodur has a layer thickness of about 6 cm. and the mineral has a layer thickness of about 8 cm. The mineral wool is installed on the side facing away from the inside of the roof.
