The packing tulip for bottles and suchlike has several differently positioned gripping zones in the axial direction. Several elastic packing tulip inserts (5a,5b) which for the clamping of the bottle are radially adjustable in the clear cross sectional area of the receiving opening are located axially one upon the other. The packing tulip inserts are interconnected by a displaceable ring (3) in such a way that with axial movement of the adjusting piston (1) they are squashed independently of each other.
