<p>The device (1) is designed as a housing (2) with a gap (5) at the front. A first bore (3) positioned between the gap (5) and the upper end of the housing (1) accommodates an hydraulically operated cylinder and piston unit (9) axially moving a clamping element (7, 16) towards the work-piece (6). A base (8) with three contact areas for holding the work-piece (6) is inserted with its rear area into a second bore (4) exactly opposite the first (3) for a precise clamping. The outer ends of the bores (3, 4) are closed with matching lids (19, 26).</p> |
