The inspection fixture has a measuring guidance from a guide rail, a guidance car (18), along the guide rail and a mechanism (22) for the determination of the relative moved between the guidance car and guide rail. The inspection fixture has a measuring device (12) and a drive device (14) which is fastened at the guide rail or the guidance car and is in reciprocal effect with the guidance car or the guide rail. The drive device is fastened at the side of the head of the guide rail.
