Nozzle for suction or steam machines, comprising a central bell-shaped body (1) carrying the tubular element (101) for connection to the tube of the domestic appliance, two arms (2) or "wings" of the nozzle being pivoted on the two sides of the said central body by elastic hinge means; each of the said arms comprises a substantially plate-shaped member (2) whose bottom wall (202) has at least one cavity (212) communicating with the said tubular connecting element (101), a continuous or discontinuous brush element (502) facing the said bottom wall (202) being positioned along the peripheral edge of the said plate (2), and the said bottom wall (202) being movable with respect to the upper wall (102) of the said plate (2) in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the plate, actuating means (132, 142) being provided and comprising an inclined plane (152) and sliding means (242) engaged with the said inclined plane, the said actuating means (132, 142) being made so that they do not project substantially beyond the said plate (2).
