摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine a deterioration condition of a fuel cell even in a condition that an operational state is not always constant but changes from a stationary state. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell system constituted to generate power by passing gas containing a first gas constituent (for example, oxygen) in one electrode (for example, cathode) 14 and passing gas containing a second gas constituent (for example, hydrogen) different from the first gas constituent in the other electrode (for example, anode) 12, a plurality of gas sensors (for example, oxygen sensor) 30, 32 are arranged along the direction of a flow of off-gas discharged from the other electrode 12 to detect the concentration of the first gas constituent contained in the off-gas.
