<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus equipped with an expander lens moving mechanism which does not require power for holding a lens position after the positional adjustment while having no problem such as positional blurring due to a backlash. <P>SOLUTION: As a lens movement means for changing the lens spacing of expander lenses 15, this optical pickup apparatus has: a frame 20 having a planar slide face; a lens holder 22 for holding a lens 15b and also allowing the lens 15b to slide on the slide face in the direction X; a driving plate 23 capable of sliding on the slide face in the direction Y intersecting with the direction X; and a driving unit 30 for driving the driving plate 23 in the direction Y by an electromagnetic force. The driving plate 23 and the lens holder 22 are engaged to be slidable in the linear direction oblique with respect to both directions X and Y and the lens holder 22 is slid in the direction X by the sliding of the driving plate 23 in the direction Y, thereby changing the lens space of the expander lenses 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
