<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage container which can supply a developer by keeping the amount of supply of the developer to an image forming apparatus body constant and is so constituted as to prevent a container body and a supporting member from moving respectively in an axial direction and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The container body 31 is formed to a cylindrical shape and an outer peripheral surface 31a of the container body 31 is provided with a recessed part 41 recessing inward in a radial direction. A discharge hole 43 is formed in the recessed part 41. The supporting member 32 is adapted to hold the container body 31 rotatably around an axis L31 by surrounding the outer peripheral surface 31a of the container body so as to include the region formed with the recessed part 41 of the container body. The supporting member 32 is provided with a conduction hole 51. According to the developer storage container 30 fitting the supporting member 32 and the container body 31 in such a manner that the container body 31 is prevented from moving in the axial direction, the amount of the supply of the developer can be kept constant and the trouble, such as toner leakage, can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
