<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device for a vehicle capable of surely disconnecting a clutch when drive of a motor is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The driving force control device for the vehicle has the motor 4, rear wheels 3L, 3R driven with the motor 4, and the clutch 12 installed in a power transmitting passage from the motor 4 to the rear wheels 3L, 3R. The clutch 12 is connected or disconnected by a mechanical mechanism with control for operating an electromagnetic clutch 106, and the drive of the motor is stopped after the clutch is surely shifted to a disconnecting state by increasing and decreasing torque of the motor by prescribed torque if an engaging state of the clutch is unstable when the drive of the motor is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
