MERCHANDISE DISPLAY RACK AND MERCHANDISE SAMPLE INFORMATION COLLECTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise display rack and a merchandise sample information collecting system for automatically data-collecting and checking that a shopper has taken a merchandise sample in his or her hand without making the shopper aware of it.

SOLUTION: This system is provided with a merchandise display rack equipped with a rack having a merchandise display part where merchandise is displayed and a merchandise sample display part where merchandise samples attached with non-contact IC tags are displayed and an IC tag reader having structure capable of communicating with the non-contact IC tags. This system is also provided with an information processor having a means for detecting that a shopper has taken the merchandise sample in his or her hand due to the reception of the unique information read by the IC tag reader turned to be unavailable when the merchandise sample is extracted from the merchandise display rack.
