<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load in a packet relay apparatus as a capturing apparatus in capturing and recording packets. <P>SOLUTION: The packet relay apparatus as a capturing apparatus is provided with a copy target list recording predetermined conditions, copies packets satisfying the predetermined conditions into the predetermined number from among packets having arrived, and sends at least one packet of the copied packets to a designated transmission path different from a transmission path defined by the destination address of the packet. By connecting the recording apparatus of the packet to the this different transmission path designated, the packet relay apparatus need not to perform recording, and the processing load can be reduced compared with a conventional technique. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
