PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "speaker apparatus" capable of promoting a low profile of the entire apparatus including a speaker body. SOLUTION: The speaker apparatus is roughly configured of the speaker body 21, an installation base metal 22, and a fitting member 23. The speaker body 21 is provided with a magnetic circuit 24: a voice coil 26 wound on a bobbin 25; a diaphragm 27 and a damper 31 connected to the tail end of the bobbin 25; a frame 29 for supporting the periphery of the diaphragm 27; a cover 30 for supporting the periphery of the damper 31; and a dust proof cap 32 for closing the tail end of the bobbin 25. The fitting member 23 is screw-fastened to the rear wall 22a of the installation base metal 22 and the dust proof cap 32 is provided with an escape part 32a to avoid an interference with a screw-fastening fixed part.
