PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio terminal which can be prevented from being left for a long time without notice of an incoming call during absence. SOLUTION: The portable radio terminal is provided with a reception detecting means (S01) for detecting reception of identification information for identifying a caller; a notifying means (S02) for notifying a user of the reception, according to reception of the identification information; a switching instruction detecting means (S03) for detecting instruction of switching to a communication operation by the user; an absence incoming call detecting means (YES in S06) for detecting an incoming call arrival during absence in which the switching instruction is not detected until the completion of notification of the notifying means; an identification information storage means for storing the identification information of the detected incoming call arrival during absence; a time counting means (S08) for counting an elapsed time after the incoming call arrival during absence is detected by the absence incoming call detecting means; and a re-notifying means (S09) for re-notifying the reception if the instruction for outputting the identification information stored in the identification information storage means is not detected before a predetermined time is counted by the time counting means.
