PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress paper wrinkling and form jamming for a long period by stabilizing the recording paper conveying capability of a fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device 60 which fixes a toner image carried on a form P is equipped with a rotatable fixing roll 61, an endless belt 62 which can move while coming into contact with the fixing roll 61 to form a nip part N, an pressure pad 64 which is arranged inside the endless belt 62 and presses the endless belt 62 against the fixing roll 61 at the nip part N, a low-friction sheet 68 which is provided between the endless belt 62 and pressure pad 64 and has its length made shorter than the nip part N, and a lubricant coating member 67 which has its length made shorter than the low-friction sheet 68.
