PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at solving problems such that, since conventional stem and leaf-treating machine loads only one nipping conveyer, its efficiency is low and requiring much labor since it is a walking type, and also since the pulled out stems and leaves are left on a field as they are, they obstruct the harvest of potatoes. SOLUTION: This treating machine is provided by installing nipping conveyers for nipping/conveying the stems and leaves of crops with a pair of endless belts at the left and right of a self-traveling machine body as low in front and high in rear by placing 2 of them side by side as a reverse V shape and raking in mechanisms at the front part of each of the nipping conveyers, also joining furrow-compacting mechanisms at the front lower direction of the nipping conveyers, connecting stem and leaf-throwing in hoppers at the rear lower direction of both nipping conveyers and installing stem and leaf-cutting tools provided by mounting many disc cutters on left and right 2 rotary shafts at the bottom part of the hoppers.
