<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an error in a rolling angle direction which is caused at the time of loading an imaging means on a vehicle and to obtain accurate traveling lane information in a traveling lane recognition apparatus for detecting lane marking from an image obtained by the imaging means and recognizing a traveling lane. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling lane recognition apparatus is provided with the imaging means for imaging the front or rear of the vehicle, a pseudo straight line detection means for detecting a pseudo straight line almost horizontal with the plane of a road from image data obtained by the imaging means, and a rolling angle calculation means for calculating the rolling angle of the imaging means from the inclination of the pseudo straight line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
