<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent battery characteristics even under severer environment, and also to provide the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and the manufacturing method of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The positive active material for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a main active material having a first lithium transition metal composite oxide having at least spinel structure, and a sub-active material having a second lithium transition metal composite oxide having at least spinel structure, the constitutional elements of the main active material and the sub-active material are the same, and lithium exists in a 16c site of the crystal structure of the second lithium transition metal composite oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
