<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce and output an optical pulse signal which has the same waveform with an optical pulse signal just having been sent from a transmission end and whose phase is not disordered by amplifying the light intensity of an input optical pulse signal and shaping the waveform to remove noise. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pulse signal 55 is inputted to an optical clock reproducing unit 58 to extract a 1st optical clock signal 59, which is inputted to an optical amplifier 60 and outputted as a 2nd optical clock signal 61 to be inputted to an optical nonlinear medium 62. At this time, the optical nonlinear medium 62 is made to output SC light 63 of the optical clock signal. This SC light is filtered by an optical band-pass filter 64 to obtain a 3rd optical clock signal 65. This 3rd optical clock signal and an optical pulse signal 56 demultiplexed by a demultiplexer 54 are inputted to an optical switch 66, so that a reproduced optical pulse signal 67 is outputted from an optical signal output terminal 68. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
