PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent terminal utilization information from leaking out, and to easily back up the terminal utilization information. SOLUTION: There are provided a step for receiving an instruction for deleting the terminal utilization information (address book information, schedule information, call termination melody information, photograph image information, moving image information, and wall paper information) utilized by a portable terminal 101carried by a user from a management terminal 801corresponding to a portable terminal carrier system 701; and a step for allowing the portable terminal carrier system 701to transmit a short message for allowing the portable terminal 101to delete the terminal utilization information to the portable terminal 101, based on the instruction for deletion.
