PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat video system that automatically avoids direct reflection by a display surface of a flat video system to a driver. SOLUTION: Provided is the flat video system which is equipped with a flat display displaying a picture, a display drive part varying the angle of installation of the flat display, an optical detection part detecting light from a specified direction, and a drive control part controlling the display drive part by detecting the light by the optical detection part, and can automatically avoid the reflection by detecting the light from the direction wherein the optical detection part provided on the display surface of the flat video system generates the reflection and drives the display drive part by the drive control part to change the angle of installation of the flat display.
