摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device in which variance in film thickness among liquid crystal cells is reduced. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal device having a couple of substrates stuck together across a seal material is characterized in that when the seal material is drawn on a substrate, a liquid crystal absorption part which has relatively low viscosity than other parts is formed at a portion of the seal material, liquid crystal which is as much as or larger than the capacity of a liquid crystal cell is applied, and the upper and lower substrates are stuck together.
