PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer apparatus capable of bidirectional communication of sounds and images between control apparatuses. SOLUTION: A capability exchange check (S141) for checking capability exchange between control apparatuses (A, B) is provided on an SIP server (100) serving as a data transfer apparatus, and an exchange gate (S142) is provided for performing exchange processing of a format system so that image format/voice format between the respective control apparatuses (A, B) may match, thereby performing bidirectional communication of sounds and images by the control apparatuses (A, B).
