PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipoint lock having a simple structure and capable of achieving effective multipoint locking. SOLUTION: This multipoint lock for sealing includes two or more of latches 19, 20 for operating a chute bolt or a remote dead bolt, a lift bolt 13, and at least one driving elements 16, 17. A driving cam 15, a driving gear 14, and a toothlike member 42 are connected with at least either of the lift bolt 13 and at least one driving elements 16, 17. The toothlike member 42 is meshed and engaged with the driving gear 14, and the driving cam 15 is connected with the driving gear 14 through idle connection 38, 40 by driving. Consequently, rotation in one direction of the driving cam 15 operates the latches 19, 20, and rotation in the opposite direction operates the driving gear 14 to move the lift bolt 13 and the driving elements 16, 17.
