<p>A system for reducing waves breaking onto a shore line has liquid gas tanks (9) on the shore linked to gas outlet jets (5) on the seabed a short distance from the shore. The gas release is controlled by a computer programme and the warmer sea water vaporises and expands the gas. The liquid gas tanks, connecting hoses and outlet jets can be secured on a trailer, or in a container, for rapid deployment.</p> |
