The wood bowl (1), for washing and bathing, is composed of a number of wood veneer sheet layers (18) cut from a tree trunk as ring layers (2) and a solid base (6), with a glue bonding between them. The layers are overlaid with their fibers on a longitudinal orientation or an intersection, and with glass fiber mats (16) between the wood layers. An overflow (17) is integrated into the bowl wall. The outer surface is sealed with an oil or lacquer.
