<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor capable of confirming a password while securing its confidentiality. <P>SOLUTION: The data processor 1 stores the password and designation information indicating a management device 23 in a management part 18 as password information, and if a request is made to confirm the password, transmits the password to the management device 23. By transmitting the password to the management device 23 managed by a manager, the password can be safely confirmed while securing its confidentiality.
