PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for holding an event in such a way as to allow an unspecified number of people with features common to the organizer of the event to participate in the event. SOLUTION: A person who calls for participation in an event accesses a friendly event acceptance system 103 from a caller's terminal 102A or the like, specifies a category such as hobby for event participants, and has a notice of holding the event sent to each member who has chosen the same category from a user information database aimed at all the members. A notice that ensures participation is reported to the organizer as well as to each member who has replied to the notice to approve participation, to enable members with the same hobby or the like to easily hold an event.
