<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siding door device for a vehicle which is easy in operation and does not require a superfluous force when slidingly opening/closing the door. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding door device for a vehicle is provided with an extension part 13 substantially right angled folded along the horizontal face from the other end at the other end of the arm-shaped cam 5c rotating integrally with a locking bar 6a by the operation of a handle 8 and an auxiliary roller 11 is fitted to form a straight line with the roller 9 on the cam 5c.
