<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead distribution line protector, through which a work for specifying the cause of an intermittent or subtle ground fault which does not lead to accident, can be carried out quickly in safely. <P>SOLUTION: A protector tube body 12 is fixed with a part 15 for inducing an electromotive force with a current flowing through an overhead distribution line 13, at a part covered with the protector tube body 12 over a specified length in the longitudinal direction. When the work for specifying the cause of intermittent or subtle ground faults which do not lead to accident is carried out, an electrical quantity detecting section 17 detects electrical quantity, based on an electromotive force induced in the electromotive force inducing section 15 and a measuring section 18 decides the state and measures the electrical quantity, based on the electric quantity detected at the electrical quantity detecting section 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
