<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To include an extended unit which can be connected to a bus connection input/output part owned by a programmable controller(PLC) in the same system as that of a PLC, and to provide even data to be obtained from the extended unit to a monitor device. <P>SOLUTION: This data server 2 is configured of a network communicating part 21, a condition setting part 22 for storing the storage conditions of data, a low order communication part 231 and a bus connection input/output part 233 connected to the PLC and an extended unit respectively, an input/output control part 24 which collects data from the PLC and the extended unit via the low order communication part 231 and the bus connection input/output 233 according to the storage conditions, a data storing part 251 which stores the collected data, and a display data generating part 26 which provides the data stored in the data storing part 251 via the network communication part 21 to the monitoring device.
