PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly communication terminal device for a cellular phone which can especially change a state such as a manner mode. SOLUTION: The communication terminal with a display screen has a plurality of states of a device by the selection of a user. It is provided with a means to select a picture to be displayed in the display screen, a means to store the selected picture and the state of the device at that time by making them correspond to each other, and a means to display the picture stored corresponding to the state of the device on the display screen when the state of the device is selected.
