PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant composition which has flame retardancy and is excellent in flexibility, mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength and the like, and resistance to whitening by scratch. SOLUTION: The flame retardant composition comprises (a) 20-60 wt.% of a hydrogenated block copolymer whose content of a vinyl aromatic compound is >40 wt.% and <95 wt.% based on the weight of the hydrogenated copolymer, (b) 1-20 wt.% of a modified elastomer having an atomic group with a functional group bonded thereto, and (c) 30-80 wt.% of an inorganic filler.
