PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unitarily manage load states of all servers which participate in a system. SOLUTION: Load information storage functions 21 of each of the servers 20(1) to (n) collect basic information such as CPU use ratio and access requests (IOPS) and store them in a local LU 30, respectively. The load information storage functions 21 perform statistical processing to the basic information and generate pieces of load information. Pieces of the load information are accumulated in a shared LU 40. A manager can check a list of pieces of the load information accumulated in the shard LU 40 by displaying it on a terminal screen only by accessing a load information gathering function 22 of any server via a web browser 11 of a terminal 10. The load states of all servers are unitarily managed irrespective of load fluctuation of each server since a server with low load executes load information related processing in a server with high load by proxy when any server changes into a high load state.
