PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling interior member capable of realizing high rigidity and excellent impact absorbing performance by an inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A plurality of split bodies 14 consisting of impact absorbing parts 16 and plate-shaped reinforcement parts 18 and 20 are arranged at side parts of a facing side to a roof panel 45 of a ceiling interior member body 10 so that the impact absorbing parts 16 are adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction of the ceiling interior member body 10, and the plate-shaped reinforcement parts 18 and 20 overlap each other between the impact absorbing parts 16 adjacent to each other, and integrated with the ceiling interior member body 10. The impact absorbing means 12 consisting of the plurality of split bodies 14 is arranged on the side part of the ceiling interior member body 10 in a continuously extending manner in the longitudinal direction thereof.
