PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate opening/closing operation of panels by simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: A joint structure for the panels of a folding door comprises the first frame member 10 having the first and second side faces 10A, 10B orthogonal to each other, the second frame member 10' having the third and fourth side faces 10'A, 10'B orthogonal to each other, and a joint member 3 having a flexible connecting part 3C. An end 2a of each of the panels 2 are fixed to each of the first and the second frame members 10, 10'. The connecting part 3C rotatably connects the frame members 10 and 10' so that the panels may be in an extended-state by bringing the side faces 10A, 10'A into proximal contact with each other, and in a folded-state by bringing the side faces 10B, 10'B into proximal contact with each other. Engaging end parts 3A, 3B at both ends of the joint member 3 are engaged with the first and second engaging holes 10a, 10'a formed in the frame members 10, 10', respectively. An opening width D of each of the engaging holes 10a, 10'a is lager than a thickness t of the connecting part 3C.
