PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide belt molding mounting structure having excellent workability at low cost. SOLUTION: The mounting structure has a notch groove 13 of an upper edge of an outer panel 11, a hole 17 provided on a door frame 15 extending to a roof direction, and a lip part 22 having a section of approximately inverse U-shape and abuttable to an upper part surface of the outer panel 11. The mounting structure also has: a belt molding body 23 fitted into the upper edge of the outer panel 11; a base 25 which is formed on the belt molding body 23, extended to the space between the outer panel 11 and the door frame 15, and abuts to the inner wall surface of the outer panel 11; a pawl 31 which is formed on the surface of the door frame 15 side of the base 25, and engaged with the hole 17 of the door frame 15 with a wedge having a height to be lower as it goes downward; a first projection 33 which is formed on the surface of the outer panel 11 of the base 25, and is abuttable to the door frame 15; and a second projection 35 which is formed on the surface of the outer panel 11 side of the base 25 and engaged with the notch groove 13 of the outer panel 11.
