A toothbrush (1000) provides a head (1110) with bristles (1200), a neck (1120) and a handle (1130). An eccentrically rotational weight (1330) is engaged for rotation with a motor (1310), the weight (1330) disposed within the head (1110). The motor (1310) is disposed within the handle (1130). The head (1110) and neck (1120) are integrally formed with a natural resonance frequency of vibration approximately equal to the rotational speed of the motor (1310) and synchronized therewith.
