<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that permits the performance of an image forming process at high speeds while performing an image density control. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing section 25 has a reference patch dither matrix storage section 255 used for image density control in a screen processing section 251, separately from a dither matrix storage section 253 used for normal image formation, and performs a screen processing by using a dither matrix stored in the dither matrix storage section 255 for a reference patch when a reference patch is generated in the image density control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
