COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MONITORING DEVICE, EDGE ROUTER AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly limit packets with respect to which no measures are taken for transmission limit when it arrives at a network.

SOLUTION: A monitoring device 20 gives instructions to edge routers 30a-30g to perform marking on an attack packet which is a limit packet. The edge routers 30a-30g perform marking on the attack packet by setting identification data according to the instructions. The edge routers 30a-30g and routers 40a-40c put restraint on the transmission of the marking packet.
