PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanging device and an air conditioner provided with the same, of which wiring connection operation of a heat exchanger is easily conducted. SOLUTION: When a first heat exchanger 12 and a second heat exchanger 13 arranged proximately by facing with each other are connected by a connection pipe 28 laterally, the second heat exchanger 13 is stepped back from a side part of the first heat exchanger 12 and is unevenly arranged. A pipe end of the connection pipe 12 is welded and fixed on a refrigerant inlet and outlet parts 17, 25, 26 of side surfaces of the respective heat exchangers 12, 13. Thereby, mounting operation can be easily conducted without being interfered by other connection part of the connection pipe 28 or a side surface U-shaped pipe 16 of the heat exchanger.
