PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase image quality, when correcting the quality of a digital image photographed by a photography taking apparatus for outputting. SOLUTION: The image outputting method for outputting image data photographed by the photography taking apparatus includes a process (a step S501) for containing information on a photography state when the image data are photographed and for reading attachment information attached to the image data; processes (steps S503-S506) for identifying the presence or absence of reliability in the information on the photography state contained in the attachment information; a process for associating correction information for correcting the image quality of the image data with information on the photography state for retaining in advance; and processes (steps S509-S512) for correcting the image quality of the image data according to correction information corresponding to the information on the photography state contained in the attachment information, when it is determined that the information on the photography state is reliable.
