PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and inexpensively form a good conductive pattern having excellent adhesiveness to a transparent substrate by using ultraviolet curing resin paste at the time of manufacturing an electromagnetic wave shielding light transmitting window material, by forming the conductive pattern by forming a plated layer formed by electroless plating on a resin pattern formed by printing resin paste containing an electroless plating catalyst on the transparent substrate in a pattern and curing the paste. SOLUTION: After the resin pattern 3 is formed by printing the ultraviolet curing resin paste containing the electroless plating catalyst on the surface of the transparent substrate 1 and curing the paste by projecting ultraviolet rays upon the formed printed pattern 2, the conductive pattern 5 is formed by forming the plated layer 4 on the resin pattern 3 by performing the electroless plating. The resin pattern 3 subjected to electroless plating has an uncured layer 3A on its surface. During the course of the electroless plating, the uncured layer 3A is eroded in a plating bath, and catalyst particles are exposed.
