PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand discharging structure of floating body type derricking gate facility capable of forcedly discharging/cleaning sediment deposited in a lower part of a floating body type derricking door body. SOLUTION: A water conducting port 13 is provided on a side wall of a water channel part on the upstream side of the floating body type derricking type door body 1 rising/falling down so as to open or block water passing cross section of the water channel part by changes of water level in the water channel part and a water conducting tube 12 having a water outlet 15 is provided at a position lower than a lower watertight part 5 of the floating body type derricking door body 1 and in contact with water on the downstream side. A check valve for preventing back flow of water from the downstream side to the upstream side of the floating body type derricking door body 1 is provided in the water conducting tube 12. When water level on the upstream side of the floating body type derricking door body 1 is above water level on the downstream side, water flows from the upstream side to the downstream side in the water conducting tube 12 by difference in water level between the upstream and downstream sides and flows out through the water outlet 15. Consequently, sediment deposited in the lower part of the floating body type derricking door body 1 is forcedly discharged/cleaned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
