PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct control for avoiding departure from a lane in the optimum way. SOLUTION: In this device for prevention of lane departure, at least either of sharing quantity of yaw momentum to be provided to a vehicle and speed reduction of the vehicle, and start timing for providing the yaw momentum and start timing of speed reduction of the vehicle, is set according to acceleration speed of the vehicle (step S6), and brake control is conducted to realize the contents of the setting (steps S7-S9).
