PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method of membrane using chemicals which can be easily disposed of. SOLUTION: In the washing method using chemicals of membrane module, the membrane module is washed by means of the chemicals prepared by mixing inorganic acid and organic acid. Otherwise in the washing method using chemicals of membrane module, the membrane module is washed by means of the chemicals prepared by mixing inorganic acid, organic acid and surfactant. BOD of the mixed chemicals is preferably 100 mg/L or less and it is preferable that the inorganic acid is sulfuric acid or nitric acid and the organic acid is oxalic acid or citric acid.
