The present invention discloses a method of implementing multicasting service, including setting a multicasting service into multiple service forms, each corresponding to a path, and a mobile terminal activating at least one service form supported by current network and receiving the multicasting service from a path corresponding to the activated service form. The method can ensure that users receive subscribed multicasting information. When a activated service form is not supported by current network in which a user is located, the user activate a service form supported by the current network in order that the user can receive the multicasting service of other service forms. Thus the method ensures the users can receive applied multicasting service information in any network environments, and accordingly user demand is meet greatly and user satisfaction is increased.
