The two-part end profile (1) for building insulation plates has a basic, L-shaped profile part (2) fixable with a fixture leg to a wall, with a normal connecting leg (2b) formed on the fixture leg. The connecting leg is releasably or unreleasably connected with an application profile part (3). The basic profile part and the application profile part are connected to each other by first (4a) and second connecting strips. The first and second connecting strips have corresponding complementary profiles in the plane (2b') of the connecting leg (2b) and are displaceable on the basic profile part parallel to its longitudinal axis (2').
